On June 21, 2024, in the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Bishkek, an important event took place in the life of the local Church – during the festive Mass, the couple renewed their wedding vows, which they gave to each other in the presence of the Lord and the community 10 years ago.
The Mass was presided over by the Apostolic Administrator, Father Anthony Corcoran, and concelebrated by the rector of the parish, Father Remigiusz Kalski, who married Rinat and Marina 10 years ago. In his sermon, Father Remigius spoke about the importance of the sacrament of marriage and about the family, which God himself blessed. This holiday brought together friends of the family of Rinat and Marina, along with them were their children, relatives, as well as those who celebrated their marriage 10 years ago. Marriage is a sacrament of love and the union of hearts.
“At the beginning of creation, God created them male and female. Therefore a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh; so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no man separate” (Mark 10: 6-9).
